Aquatech 2021: Vogelsang presents pumping and shredding technology for sewage treatment plants and sewer systems
Essen (Oldenburg), 18 October 2021– Vogelsang GmbH & Co. KG is exhibiting its pumping and grinding technology at Aquatech, trade fair for process, drinking and wastewater (2-5 November 2021, Amsterdam). In hall 1 stand 240the focus lies on twin-shaft wastewater grinders for reliable shredding of foreign matter.
“In sewer systems and sewage treatment plants, solids and disruptive matter in the wastewater often leads to problems. Pumps, pipes and valves can clog, and operational processes can come to a standstill,” says Rainer Zobel, Director Sales EU Industry, Wastewater & Biogas. He adds: “At Aquatech, we provide information about technical solutions for efficient wastewater treatment and economical operation of wastewater treatment plants.”
Proven technology for efficient operation
The robust XRipper wastewater grinders from Vogelsang provide high capacity and are easy to maintain at the same time. For operators of sewer systems and sewage treatment plants, this reduces investment and operating costs. The monolithic ripper rotors reliably shred even stubborn solids in wastewater, thus avoiding malfunctions and damages to downstream systems.
XRipper XRP: Compact and easy to maintain
The XRipper XRP series is designed for inline installation in pipes and confined spaces, such as dry wells. Designed for flow rates up to 1,140 m³/h, it shreds foreign matter in wastewater and sludge with ease. The rotating assembly can be lifted out of the housing so that maintenance and service can be performed easily outside of confined spaces.
XRipper models for open channels and manholes
The XRC and XRG series XRippers are intended for installation in open wastewater channels, wet wells and pits. Extra narrow solutions from widths of just 300 mm as well as large models with capacities of over 7,000 m³/h are available.Vogelsang is showcasing the XRipper XRC100-480QD model at Aquatech. With the Sewer Integration Kit (SIK), the XRippers of the XRC series can easily be integrated in any wet well or channel. The machines can be pulled up on guide rails for maintenance and service.
Wide range of wastewater technology solutions
At the Vogelsang stand, visitors can also learn about other products, such as the RotaCut wet grinder with heavy material separator, positive displacement pumps for wastewater and sludge, as well as systems for mechanical or electrokinetic disintegration.
