Vogelsang presents pumping and grinding technology at the SMM
Essen (Oldenburg), Germany, July 27, 2022 – Vogelsang GmbH & Co. KG will showcase its pumping and grinding solutions for the maritime industry at the world's leading maritime trade fair, the SMM (Shipbuilding, Machinery & Marine Technology) in Hamburg. From 6-9 September 2022, visitors can find out more about the use of Vogelsang's rotary lobe pump and XRipper grinder in the maritime branch at booth 130 in hall A2.

Powerful pumping technology for the maritime industry
The Vogelsang VX series rotary lobe pump is suitable for a wide range of applications on ships: as a cargo and discharge pump, a lubricating oil pump or mobile pump, and for pumping ballast and bilge water. The pumps are robust, powerful and resistant to foreign bodies. Their compact design allows them to be easily installed in confined spaces on ships. Vogelsang's QuickService concept also ensures fast and simple maintenance without long downtimes.
Grinder for food waste
Vogelsang will also present its robust twin-shaft grinder XRipper XRL for increased efficiency in solids grinding. The XRipper XRL is particularly suitable for uniform grinding of galley food waste and spoiled provisions on cargo and cruise ships. Customers can choose from a range of cutting widths, from 6 mm to 32 mm.
