Essen/Oldb., December 4, 2018 – The Dutch subsidiary Bos Benelux B.V. belonging to Vogelsang GmbH & Co. KG will be trading as Vogelsang B.V. from 1 February 2019. After more than 30 years of trustful business partnership and the takeover into the Vogelsang Group two years ago, the mechanical engineering company is now taking the next logical step and is also sending a signal of close affiliation to the outside. Bos Benelux is Vogelsang's central distributor in the fields of pumps, shredding, distribution and spreading technology for Belgium and the Netherlands.

“Bos Benelux is a key component in our international growth strategy. By merging the names, we underline this global orientation and can further strengthen the confidence of our Benelux customers in our products and services“, explains Harald Vogelsang, Managing Director of Vogelsang GmbH & Co. KG.

Change in the Dutch management board

In the course of the renaming there will also be a change in the management board. After 32 years, founder Bert Bos is retiring and handing over the reins to Paul Roobol, who was previously in charge of sales at Bos Benelux. Roobol has been active in various management positions in mechanical engineering for the last 30 years and is thus an expert in the industry. Under Roobol, the collaboration with customers and third-party suppliers stays unchanged.

Vogelsang remains on course for international growth

Vogelsang intends to further expand its global network of subsidiaries and agencies to open up new markets worldwide in the segments waste water, agriculture, biogas, industry and transportation. Currently, Vogelsang has more than 25 branches, subsidiaries and sales offices in Germany and overseas as well as production and assembly sites in Germany, Brazil, USA and other countries.
