Aquatech: Vogelsang presents grinding and pumping technology for efficient wastewater management
Essen (Oldenburg), October 17, 2023 – Vogelsang GmbH & Co. KG will present its innovative solutions for efficient, high-performance wastewater handling at the Aquatech (Nov. 6–9, 2023, Amsterdam) in hall 7, at booth 342.
“With our broad portfolio of wastewater-related technologies, we help our customers to operate wastewater treatment plants and sewer networks more efficiently and economically,” says Ralf Thölke, Director Regional Sales at Vogelsang. The focus at the Vogelsang booth will be on the XRipper wastewater grinder, the RotaCut RCQ macerator and the VX series rotary lobe pump.
XRipper twin-shaft grinder: Product range expanded
In addition, Vogelsang will provide visitors with information on the new models of the expanded XRG series of the twin-shaft grinder at the booth.
Thölke: “The aim here is to offer operators high-performance wastewater technology in a compact design. The new XRipper XRG model types are designed for high flow rates and particularly suitable for use in pumping stations, sewer systems and wastewater treatment plant inlets.”
One-piece ripper rotors installed as standard
The one-piece ripper rotors are installed as standard in all models of the XRipper series. They are made from a single block of special steel and feature hardened cutting edges and a high-strength core, making them particularly robust and durable.
One pump, many applications: VX pump with reversible flow direction
At the Aquatech, Vogelsang will present the VX series rotary lobe pump. When it comes to pumping sludge and wastewater, Vogelsang’s powerful rotary lobe pumps have proven their worth in a wide variety of applications worldwide – in classic wastewater treatment, but also in membrane filtration. Whether suction operation for filtration or backflushing to clean the membranes, both process steps can be carried out with just one rotary lobe pump by reversing the direction of flow and adjusting the drive speed. Additional piping and gate valves that would normally be required when using multiple pumps are therefore no longer necessary.
