Precision distributors – cutting edge technology
Precise distribution for targeted nutrient spreading
Agricultural operations looking to modernize are less concerned with the “why?” than with the “how?” when it comes to low-level spreading of liquid manure. As a well-known manufacturer and pioneer in the development of modern spreading technology, Vogelsang dedicates itself to the precision distributor as the centerpiece of these systems. The challenge: distributing the liquid manure uniformly to all outlets and ensuring this occurs even with large linkages like the Vogelsang SwingMax, with its 36 meter working width and 120 hoses.
Vogelsang precision distributors score highly here, with a variation coefficient as low as under 5%, resulting in equally uniform distribution of nutrients. This high degree of reliability is due to the intelligent design of Vogelsang precision distributors and the quality of the individual components. Agricultural operations not only benefit from lower costs for inorganic fertilizer, Vogelsang agricultural machines also feature longer lifetimes.

Precision distributors from Vogelsang – universal but tailored at the same time
To meet the many different needs of agricultural operations, Vogelsang precision distributors are available in three different series. And each of the individual models can also be custom configured. Whether you use a dribble hose, trailing shoe cutting tool, cultivator, short disk harrow or Strip Till machine, our precision distributors function equally reliably with any spreading technology.
The first consideration when choosing the most suitable series is the feed. The hydraulically driven DosiMat LVX , for example, is filled from above: the liquid manure flows into a rotor equipped with cutting blades, which distributes the fertilizer uniformly into the outlets, which also face downward. For years, Vogelsang has been installing cutting blades with an optimized cutting geometry here. The fibrous and foreign matter contained in the liquid manure is shredded more thoroughly so that the uniform flow of liquid manure can be conveyed even further. A double sealing system and a visual leakage inspection system provide additional security during operation. With more than 100 configurations, between 5 and 60 hose outlets and diameters from DN 40 to DN 60, the DosiMat LVX is the most versatile of the Vogelsang precision distributors when it comes to spreading liquid manure.
The ExaCut ECL includes models with 20 to 60 hose outlets and can also be installed on the booms of a spreading system, thanks to its compact size – making it the perfect choice for more extreme working widths. In addition to a foreign matter separator, the models in the ExaCut ECL range also feature a self-sharpening cutting system.
The ExaCut ETX from Vogelsang ensures maximum reliability during liquid manure spreading. The precision distributor’s function is based on eccentric technology. Thanks to this control principle, the drive shaft in the precision distributor offers greater power with a smaller stroke. The system reinforces the power of the precision distributor, significantly increasing its lateral distribution precision. Unlike other eccentrically operating machines, however, the ExaCut ETX has a counterweight in the rotor, which makes the machine run smoother. The mechanical strain on the bearings and the sealing system is reduced and less vibration is produced, which also helps protect the spreading system, extending its lifetime considerably. With the innovative ExaCut ETX, Vogelsang has successfully overcome the weaknesses of eccentric-based distribution systems, ensuring that the improved power does not come at the expense of the machine’s lifetime.
