The right grinding technology for every application
For smooth and optimized processes and protection against malfunctions

Grinding technology is needed for many different applications: Whether to avoid blockades caused by wet wipes in sewers, cut down foreign matter and prepare the suspension in biogas plants or to treat various food remnants in the food industry. Systems to manage debris and heavy material are a good add-on in many cases in order to handle separated foreign matter in an easy and efficient way. This serves both for conditioning the respective medium as well as to protect downstream components.

FAQ: Grinders

An industrial grinder reduces the size of solids, fibers, wipes, food scraps, or foreign objects present in a fluid or material. It helps prevent clogs, homogenize the product, and protect pumps, valves, piping, and other downstream equipment.

For wastewater, wet grinders such as the XRipper or RotaCut are used to break down wipes, fibers, and coarse materials, minimize clogging, and protect pumping stations or wastewater treatment plants.

A wet grinder is designed to process materials present in a liquid or pumpable fluid. A solids grinder is used to prepare drier or bulkier materials to make them easier to transport, pump, or recycle.

Vogelsang grinders are used in wastewater treatment, biogas, agriculture, the food industry, recycling, and industrial applications requiring the reduction or preparation of solids.
