Supply Chain Due Diligence Act
Internal reporting office in accordance with the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG)
On January 1, 2023, the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG) came into force. The law obliges companies to respect human rights and environmental standards along the supply and value chain. The aim is to ensure that risks such as human rights violations, unfair working conditions, or environmental violations can be identified, reported, and remedied at an early stage.
Individuals who receive information about possible risks or violations in the course of their professional activities or business relationships have the option of contacting the internal reporting office set up under the LkSG. Reporting allows potential risks to be investigated and appropriate preventive or remedial measures to be taken.
The LkSG also protects whistleblowers from any disadvantages that may arise as a result of their reports.
Responsibility risks in the supply chain
- Menschenrechtsverletzungen, z. B. Kinder- oder Zwangsarbeit, Diskriminierung, Belästigung oder unfaire Arbeitsbedingungen.
- Arbeits- und Gesundheitsschutz, z. B. unsichere Arbeitsplätze oder Verletzung von Arbeitsschutzvorschriften.
- Umweltbezogene Risiken, z.
Further action after receipt of your report
Once your report has been received, you will receive confirmation from the reporting officer within 7 days. Your report will be reviewed and evaluated within 3 months. You can read about the exact procedure for reports under the LkSG in our rules of procedure.
