Whether basements flood, pumping stations fail, or floods intensify, the growing frequency of extreme weather events underscores the need for reliable, resilient solutions. Vogelsang therefore offers modular systems that can be configured and combined individually as needed. Different drive types, design variants, and performance classes enable reliable operation even under difficult conditions and without existing infrastructure.
The product portfolio includes, among other things, mobile pumping units, pumps mounted on various types of trailers, and high-performance systems for large-scale operations mounted on roll-off containers. The range is complemented by portable pumps for difficult-to-access areas and PTO-driven solutions for operation in challenging terrain.
“At Interschutz, we are showcasing two solutions for disaster response that stand out for their high mobility: a PTO-driven pump for front and rear mounting on off-road vehicles or tractors, and a mobile pumping unit installed on a car trailer,” says Brinkmann. Robust rotary lobe pumps for media containing solids such as sludge
Vogelsang’s pump solutions are based on rotary lobe pumps. While they are not yet standard in disaster response, they offer significant advantages over the commonly used centrifugal pumps: they are designed to reliably pump solids-laden media such as sludge or stones. Thanks to their self-priming and robust design, they are particularly suitable for emergency and disaster response operations.
