Compliance
Compliance – legal certainty and responsible conduct
Compliance is a high priority at Vogelsang and forms the basis for responsible, legally compliant, and ethical conduct – both within the company itself and in all business relationships.
The term “compliance” comes from English and cannot be fully translated into a single German word. The equivalent translation is: adherence to rules, compliance with regulations, or proper conduct. For Vogelsang, compliance encompasses both the legal obligation to adhere to rules and the requirement to anchor responsible and ethical conduct in the company and along the entire value chain in the long term.
Vogelsang's values and principles are bindingly anchored in our Code of Conduct for Employees and the Code of Conduct for Suppliers. Both codes provide clear guidance for ethical behavior, legally compliant decisions, and respectful interaction with one another. Our employees and business partners are obliged to comply with these guidelines and implement them in their business processes.
Reports and complaints
In order to identify risks at an early stage and to be able to address possible violations of laws or internal guidelines appropriately, Vogelsang operates a central reporting and complaint system. Vogelsang expressly asks all employees, business partners, customers, and other third parties who have concrete evidence of rule violations or human rights or environmental risks to report these to Vogelsang via the reporting system.
All employees, suppliers, customers, and other stakeholders are free to report possible violations of rules or human rights and environmental risks.
Incoming reports are treated confidentially, accepted anonymously upon request, and carefully reviewed. Whistleblowers acting in good faith are protected from discrimination.
