Piero Emiliani chose Vogelsang
He uses the BackPac to achieve maximum distribution accuracy
“I chose Vogelsang because their technology gives me exactly what I need: efficient, flexible and soil-friendly slurry spreading. Thanks to the BackPac2 umbilical system, we’ve reduced time and costs for transporting the digestate while minimizing soil compaction – all with maximum distribution precision.”
Piero Emiliani, Owner, Mainardi Srl, Molinella, Italy
We work in the region Emilia Romagna, where the soil is challenging and weather conditions are often changeable. As a contractor offering everything from threshing to fermentation residue spreading, it was clear to us that we needed a solution that would remain operational even in wet conditions.
That's why we turned to Vogelsang in 2022. We were looking for a system that would distribute digestate precisely, reduce soil compaction, and give us more flexibility in the field. The answer: the BackPac2.
With its working width of 24 meters, ISOBUS control, and automated functions, the system is convenient and precise to operate. In combination with the two ExaCut ECQ distributors, the slurry is distributed evenly across the entire width – or, if necessary, only over half the working width, without any waste.
Thanks to its compact design and use on a crawler tractor, we can also work during rainy periods without putting unnecessary strain on the soil. This allows us to remain flexible – and our application more efficient than ever.
