Internal reporting office in accordance with the Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG)
On July 2, 2023, the Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG) came into force, which serves to transpose Directive (EU) 2019/1937, also known as the Whistleblower Directive, into German law. The law aims to ensure the protection of persons who report violations of laws and regulations in companies and public authorities.
If, during your professional activities at Vogelsang GmbH & Co. KG, you receive information that indicates that laws and regulations are being violated, you have the option of contacting the internal reporting office that was set up under the HinSchG.
By reporting to the internal reporting office, you enable us to investigate the matter and take appropriate action. We understand that reporting is often a difficult step and can be associated with concerns about possible disadvantages. The HinSchG protects whistleblowers from any disadvantages they may suffer as a result of their report.
Individuals who wish to report misconduct have the option of contacting either an internal or an external reporting office. If it is possible to take action against possible violations internally, we ask that you contact the Internal Reporting Office first.

- Violations that are punishable by fines, especially if the violated provision serves to protect life, health, the rights of employees, or their representative bodies.
- Other violations of federal and state laws as well as directly applicable legal acts of the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community, including:
- Financial and tax law violations
- Information technology security
- Violations of uniform federal regulations for contracting authorities in public procurement and the associated legal protection once the relevant EU thresholds have been reached
- Combating money laundering and terrorist financing
- Product safety and conformity
- Road safety
- Environmental protection
- Radiation protection and nuclear safety
- Promotion of renewable energies and energy efficiency
- Food and feed safety
- Consumer rights and consumer protection
- Protection of privacy in electronic communications and personal data
Further action after receiving your report
Once your report has been received, you will receive confirmation from the reporting officer within 7 days. Your report will be reviewed and evaluated within 3 months. You will then be informed of the follow-up measures taken or planned, provided that this does not interfere with any internal investigations or inquiries and does not violate the rights of the persons concerned who are the subject of your report or named in your report.
Data protection notice
Your personal data will be treated as confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties. However, if it becomes necessary to disclose your information to third parties due to a legal obligation or for further investigation of the violation you have reported, we will contact you in advance.
The provision of information about yourself is voluntary. However, providing contact details facilitates communication between you and the reporting office and speeds up the process of investigating your report. The internal reporting office also accepts anonymous reports.
If you provide personal information in your report, by submitting the report you agree that we may process and store this data for the purpose of investigating the report and contacting you. You have the right to revoke your consent at any time in the future. The Vogelsang privacy policy applies.
